Overview

Managed pub/sub. You throw a small binary blob at a tenant and a channel. Whoever is subscribed right now gets it. Usually from a nearby edge.

No history. Missed a message? It is gone. Public internet path dies? The overlay hunts another measured route. The live stream can keep going.

Sidebar:

  • About the product — what it is, use cases, how delivery works
  • Getting started — quickstart, public demos, client configuration
  • Security & Auth — master tokens, access tokens, permissions
  • Channels — naming, patterns, namespaces
  • SDKs — JavaScript, Rust, WebTransport, filters
  • API — WebSocket framing notes and REST token API
  • Operations — observability, limits
  • Troubleshooting — common failures

Official clients:

C# and Java wrappers sit in the repo. They are not published packages.

No account for demo.fastpubsub.com:

  • Paint Board — scribble together, live WebSocket RTT
  • Online Radio — one encoder, many listeners, Opus plus track title
  • Video Meeting — WebCodecs rooms (not WebRTC)

How to read them as examples: Try the demos.
